Le Corbusier’s translation of Nehru’s Vision of India in the idiom of modern architecture, for the new capital of Indian Punjab has been revered and criticized ever since it was built in the 1950s and 1960s. This film is an introduction to the city and to its famous architectural landmarks in the Capitol complex such as the High court and the Assembly building.
